Born to encourage, inspire, and enhance the lifestyle and wellness of each and every person I am lucky enough to meet. Born into a family of healthcare providers, my love of caring for others came naturally and developed early. I knew I was meant to be a healer, coach, provider, and nurturer from when I was very young; I just never knew EXACTLY how it would play out.
In awe, I would watch my mother, a nurse, follow her passion for working in hospitals, home care, and nursing homes, always being the first person at someone’s side. Seeing her flourish and enhance lives daily, I knew I wanted to do the same. My mother died when I was 24 and when I look in the mirror, I see her. A woman with a passion for supporting and elevating others to their greatest potential.
I spent the beginning of my nursing career in the Emergency Department, living for the rush of the unknown and the pride of being there for others in their time of need. For nine years I had the privilege of caring for patients and supporting their families during some of the toughest days of their lives.
In 2017, I completed my Master's in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (NP). All this while my husband and I grew our family from two to four. (Yeah you read that right!)
While I enjoyed my time in family practice, I was often frustrated that time constraints caused patients to leave bits and pieces of their lifestyle, health, and well-being untouched and unexplored.
I asked myself… How can I make a difference and impact clients who want to become the best versions of themselves?
I started Red Anchor Wellness with direct primary care services so that I may focus on each patient with a holistic approach. I want to know my patients on a personal level so that their health and wellness receive the personalized and dedicated attention it deserves.
Some of my favorite things to do are cook, travel, host gatherings, and exercise.
My happiest place is outdoors- surfing, hiking, mountain biking, or skiing.
Watching my children play hockey, baseball, mountain bike and dance makes me live mindfully and enjoy each moment.
